Suggested Use
5ml (1 teaspoon) for each 25lb of body weight – divided into 2x/day if possible. This is to be given orally with or without food.
We recommend that you start with a smaller amount and work up to your target measure. Too much oil too quickly can cause loosen stool.

No it does not, it is a squeeze bottle.
That entirely depends on the dose you are feeding. A 16oz container will last 95 days for a dog up to 25lb at a serving of 5ml/day. A 16oz container will last a 50lb dog 47 days and so on. Larger doses will mean your container lasts less time for you.
Smart Earth Camelina Oil is approved by Health Canada as an LRVP - a Low Risk Veterinary Supplement for horses and dogs. Health Canada has labeling guidelines for these products and we are required to comply, even though our camelina oil is considered a LOW RISK product.
Despite the fact that there is no evidence camelina oil creates harm or risk to lactating animals or animals with bleeding issues, because there are no long term, documented, studies to the contrary, these risk statements are mandatory.
There has minimal clinical research on dogs fed camelina oil, to our knowledge. However, there are many articles on the health benefits of alpha-linolenic and other polyunsaturated fatty acids in both animals and humans. We do have a research summary of the apparent benefits of adding Long Chain Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids of the type found in Camelina to the diet of dogs. Camelina oil is high in ALA with a 1.6:1 - 1.8:1 ratio of omega 3s to omega 6s.
The oil is fine to consume after 2 years at 20C (70F) if unopened and stored in the dark, but not as fresh as it could be. It depends on whether it has been exposed to air and light too. As a general rule we say our oil is fine after 1 year if opened and at room temperature not kept in the dark. The peroxide value is an indication of oxidation stability. Our oil must have a pv of less than 5 when freshly crushed. This value increases as it oxidizes.

Our non-GMO cold-pressed Camelina oil is Health Canada approved as a veterinary supplement for horses and for dogs. As a high omega oil it is processed in a food-grade facility and it has been sold to other buyers for human consumption. But we presently are not marketing it as such or selling it in the retail grocery store.
This oil is absolutely wonderful!!! We have a rescued American Bully who came to us from South Carolina, and estimated to be about 5 years old. We have had her for two years and have treated her for severe allergies ever since. From prescribed meds to every probiotic prebiotic allergy immune over the counter supplement we can find. She is bathed every two or three days in medicated shampoo because her odor is nearly intolerable. We purchase the highest quality food we can get yet nothing seemed to make any difference. I saw this oil advertised on line and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did!!! It was absolutely amazing! Within a week of giving it to her my partner and I were having coffee at our kitchen table and it suddenly occurred to me that “she doesn’t stink”! I've been using Smart Earth Camelina Oil for a while now and my pups love it. I have a 12-year-old Boston Terrier and because he's old he suffers from normal joint pains and aches. He also has always had allergy issues and itchy skin, along with a unique condition with his throat which causes it to close up on itself sometimes. My 7-year-old Catahoula Mix has issues with a sensitive stomach so we had a ton of different meds and supplements we were constantly buying and giving our pups to help them. We switched to Smart Earth Camelina and since we did I'm no longer giving daily allergy meds to my Boston, or an additional joint supplement. And his throat condition doesn't flare up as much. My larger breed dog has fewer issues with her sensitive tummy and I've gotten so many compliments on how shiny her coat is now. Both dogs LOVE their Camelina Oil and won't eat their food without it! We're BIG fans!!
My 3 Shih Tzus will not eat without this! It has significantly reduced their itching (and licking their paws)!
I have a 13 yr old Westie who sheds and as no energy. She loves the taste! She has less shedding, no itching and is now running instead of being a slow poke! I also have a standard poodle 4 yrs old who was a slow eater. Now he gobbles his foot down with Camelina oil mixed in!
