Summary: Few studies have focused on the use of camelina by-products in ruminants. The aim of this study was to analyze and compare chemical composition, dry matter (DMD) and organic matter digestibility (OMD). Five protein sources and two fiber sources were analyzed. Camelina meal showed a greater CP and NDF and lower EE values than camelina expeller (CE). Camelina meal CP content was lower than soybean meal 44 (SM) and similar to sunflower meal 36 (SFM) and rapeseed meal 00 (RM). Camelina expeller had the greatest EE content. Camelina hulls showed similar NDF and ADF content, greater ADL and lower CP content than soybean hulls. In the in vitro assay, SM showed the greatest DMD and OMD. Camelina meal and CE showed similar DMD and OMD. Camelina meal presented a greater DMD and OMD than SFM, but did not differ from RM. Dry matter digestibility of CE was the same as RM and SFM. Camelina hulls showed the lowest digestibility values.
